People often wonder what it’s like to be loved by an artist, a writer, or a singer, but let’s pause and consider this: what does it feel like to be loved with consideration? It’s a tender form of affection that you can’t see but feel instead.

It’s the type of love where someone remembers the little things that matter to you – the things you might not even think are significant yourself. Like your favorite flowers, how you prefer your chicken rice cooked – roasted or steamed – or even your preferred phone brightness level. It’s the random little details you wouldn’t even bother to remember, but they do. If you asked them how they know, they would likely just shrug and say, “I just do.” Perhaps it’s because they cherish you so deeply that they hold every piece of you close to their heart, considering everything you say, do, and think.

This love shines in quiet moments: the gentle squeeze of your hand when you’re anxious or the comforting words they offer when you’re in need of solace. It’s found in the thoughtful gestures that may seem insignificant but hold great meaning – like a note left on your laptop with a silly doodle because they know it will bring a smile to your face, or a warm meal waiting for you after a long day.

To be loved with consideration means feeling secure and safe to be yourself – knowing that even your deepest insecurities to the smallest flaws you hide from the world is cherished. It’s the reassurance that someone will always be there to catch you when you fall, embracing you with open arms. It’s a love that sees the potential in you, even in the traits you least like about yourself. It’s the kind of love that makes you question why they adore a trait of yours that you consider a flaw, yet they see beauty in it that you can’t quite grasp. I would love to think that’s all love is about.

Such love is a precious gift, providing a sanctuary where you can be vulnerable, heal, and grow. It’s a reminder that being loved with consideration means being cared for in the most genuine and sincere ways possible.
